. The actor Gerd Briese experienced a short film career in the 20's. He made his film debut with "Rosenmontag" (24) and in the next years followed well-known movies like "Reveille, das grosse Wecken" (25), "Funkzauber" (27), "U 9 Weddigen" (27), "Lützows wilde verwegene Jagd" (27), "Walpurgisnacht" (27) and "Meineid" (29) folgten. Afterwards he dedicated to the theater. This artistic career was interrupted during World War II when Gerd Briese was drafted as a soldier in 1939. He was in action till 1945. After the war he was among others the manager of the Oldenburger Staatstheater from 1949 to 1954. Other movies with Gerd Briese:
