The actress Ruth Buchardt launched a brief career as a movie actress in the 40's. She made her film debut with the production "Das Herz der Königin" (40).

Till the end of war followed other well-known movies like "Immer nur Du" (41), "Reisebekanntschaft" (43), "Akrobat schööön!" (43), "Der Mann, dem man den Namen stahl" (44) and "Der grosse Fall" (45).

She didn't continue her film career after the war. 

Ruth Buchardt was married with the director Karl Anton.
