The actor Heinz Büthe was normally active at the theater and he only appeared very seldom in front of the camera.

His first movie was "Die Strasse des Vergessens" (26) with Hella Moja, Henry Stuart, Ida Wüst, Olga Engl, Paul Otto and Ferdinand von Alten. In this movie he impersonated a soldier.

Only one year later came his last movie into being. In the role of a secretary he played in "Ehekonflikte" (27) at the side of Werner Pittschau, Victor Colani and Lotte Lorring.

Besides his activity as an actor he was also responsible as a production manager for few movies.
To these productions belong "Hölle der Liebe" (26), "Gern hab' ich die Frauen geküsst" (26), "Dirnentragödie" (27) and "Kleinstadtsünder" (27).
