The actress Monika Burg was born as Paulette von Suchan in Vienna.
She began her film career during the turmoil of World War II, after the
war she continued her career under the pseudonym Claude Farell.
After a dancing education she took acting lessons and made her film
debut with "Immer nur Du" (41).
Till the end of war followed other movies like "Zwei in einer grossen
Stadt" (42), "Lache Bajazzo" (43), "Titanic" (43) and "Meine Herren Söhne"
(45).
After the war she continued her film career in France for the time being
where she appeared under different pseudonyms (Pola Virardi, Paulette Colar,
Catherine Farell and Claude Farell).
To her French movies belong "La nuit blanche" (48), "Le secret de Mayerling"
(48) and "Méfiez-vous des blondes" (50).
When she appeared again in Germany in the 50's she maintained the name
Claude Farell.
In the following yiers she acted in movies time and again, among others
in "Weisse Schatten" (51), "Die Nacht ohne Moral" (53), "Hotel Adlon" (55),
"Die Drei von der Tankstelle (55), "Spion für Deutschland" (56), "Der
schräge Otto" (57), "Le bois des amants" (60), "Der Hochtourist" (61),
"Das Geheimnis der schwarzen Witwe" (64) and "Im Banne des Unheimlichen"
(68).
After that her fame faded. In the 70's she only took part in two movies
- "Mir hat es immer Spass gemacht" (70) and the serial "Vor Gericht seh'n
wir uns wieder" (78).
