The actor Claus Clausen began his film career at the beginning of the 30's. He only appeared seldom in movies but he knew how to give profile to his roles with his expressiveness.

To his first movies belong "Cyankali" (30), "Westfront 1918" (30), "Berge in Flammen" (31), "Hitlerjunge Quex" (33) and "Der alte und der junge König" (35).
Claus Clausen continued his career successfully during wartime with movies like "Der grosse König" (42) and "Kolberg" (45).

After the war followed only few more engagements for movies. To his last works belong "The Devil Makes Three" (52) and "Der Cornet - Die Weise von Liebe und Tod" (55).
