The actress Friedl Czepa was born as Friederike Pfaffeneder in Amstetten. She became a popular actress in the 30's and took part in movies like "Alles für die Firma" (35), "Die Leuchter des Kaisers" (36), "Konfetti" (36), "Die Fledermaus" (37) and "Unsterblicher Walzer" (39) mitspielte.
During the wartime followed engagements for "Das leichte Mädchen" (41), "Anuschka" (42) and "Die goldene Fessel" (44).

Friedl Czepa could successfully continue her film career after the war as a support actress. Sie appeared among others in "Knall und Fall als Hochstapler" (52), "Der Priester und das Mädchen" (58), "Die unvollkommene Ehe" (59) and "Autofahrer unterwegs" (61).

Friedl Czepa was among others married with the actors Hans Schott-Schöbinger and Rolf Wanka.
