Anna Dandler

The actress Anna Dandler was primarily active in the theater; her father Carl Dandler was a court singer and worked at the Stuttgart Court Theater, among other places.

So Anna Dandler also took up an artistic profession and she acted at the court theater in Munich in 1880. It followed further engagements at different German stages.

She only appeared very seldom in movies.
She had her first appearance in front of the camera in "Das Fräulein von Scuderi" (19) where she impersonated the title role at Adolf Gondrell's, Molly Albrecht's, Thesy Prickner's and Max Weydner's side.

Already one year later came her last movie with "Dämon Weib" (20) with Friedrich Basil, Karl Graumann, Eugen Gura and Max Weydner.
