The child actor Peter Dann began his film career at the age of six.
To his first movies belong "Zwischen den Eltern" (38), "Kleiner Mann - ganz gross!" (38), "Maja zwischen zwei Ehen" (38) and "Alarm auf Station III" (39).

Afterwards followed a longer interruption before he took part in the production "Fritze Bollmann wollte angeln" (43).

His last cinematical work came shortly after the end of World War II into being with "Vor uns liegt das Leben" (48).
