. The actress Yvette Darnys was able to launch a brief film career at the end of the 20s which lasted till 1938. Her first appearances in front of the camera were the silent movies "Üb' immer Treu' und Redlichkeit" (27), "Gustav Mond, Du gehst so stille" (28), "Casanovas Erbe" (28), "G'schichten aus dem Wienerwald" (28) and "Aufruhr im Juggesellenheim" (29). She continued her film career during the sound film era of the 30s and she impersonated support roles in the movies "Mein Herz gehört Dir..." (30), "Liebe im Ring" (30) and "Das Mädel aus U.S.A." (30) before she continued her film career in France from 1931. First she took part in French versions of German productions, later followed independent French movies. There came her last cinematical works into being with "Calais-Douvres" (31) - the French version of the German movie "Nie wieder Liebe" (31) - "Une idée folle" (33) - the French version of the German movie "Ein toller Einfall" (32) - and "L'affaire Lafarge" (38).
