Toni Dathe

. The screenwriter and actress Toni Dathe (she also used the pen name Fidia Robbra) began her film career in 1916 when she not only appeared as an actress in "Ullas Weg" (16) but also wrote the screenplay. In the next years followed few more appearances in front of the camera and she impersonated roles in "Der tolle Demmingen" (17) and "Dem Teufel verschrieben" (19). Her job as a screenwriter was much more busy and she remained active till 1930. To her early screenplays belong "Der Schlossschrecken" (16), "Christa Hartungen" (17), "Dem Teufel verschrieben" (19) and "Mary Wood, die Tochter des Sträflings" (19). In the 20s followed again numerous screenplays for silent movies like "Das Grauen" (20), "Bigamie" (22), "Der kleine Herzog" (24), "Die Elenden der Strasse" (26) and "Jugendsünden" (29). Her film career ended with the rise of the sound film. She only wrote the script for the movies "Man schenkt sich Rosen, wenn man verliebt ist" (30), "Freiheit in Fesseln" (30) and "Wiener Herzen" (30).
