. The actor Lothar Devaal made his film debut in Hans Deppe's „Nacht der Verwandlung“ (35) with Gustav Fröhlich, Heinrich George, Rose Stradner, Ellen Frank, Max Gülstorff and Harry Hardt. In the next years followed other movies, among them „Spiel an Bord“ (36) directed by Herbert Selpin, in this movie he played a steward at the side of Viktor de Kowa, Susi Lanner, Alfred Abel, Carsta Löck, Jakob Tiedtke, Hubert von Meyerinck and Ernst Waldow, „Fridericus“ (37) as a Prussian cavalry captain with Otto Gebühr, Hilde Körber, Lil Dagover, Agnes Straub, Käthe Haack, Bernhard Minetti, Paul Klinger, Carola Höhn and Lucie Höflich, Herbert Selpin's „Alarm in Peking“ (37) as a French officer with Gustav Fröhlich, Leny Marenbach, Peter Voss, Herbert Hübner, Bernhard Minetti, Paul Westermeier and Leopold von Ledebur as well as „Ich liebe dich“ (38), again directed by Herbert Selpin with Herbert Selpin with Viktor de Kowa, Luise Ullrich, Olga Limburg, Herbert Weissbach and Joachim Rake. |
