The actress Otti Dietze was able to launch her film career at the end of the silent movie era.
To her first movies belong "Die seltsame Nacht der Hela Wangen" (28), "Die Halbwüchsigen" (29) and "Es war einmal ein treuer Husar" (29).

She continued her film career with support roles in the sound film era of the 30s.
To these productions belong "Lumpenball" (30), "Der Mann, der seinen Mörder sucht" (31), "Hans Westmar" (33), "Endstation" (35), "Die göttliche Jette" (37) and "Gewitter im Mai" (38).

Her last appearances in front of the camera came in the 40s into being with "Die keusche Geliebte" (40) and "Die Nacht in Venedig" (42).
