Eugen Dumont

The actor Eugen Dumont was able to launch a film career in the 20s which lasted till to the 50s.

Toi his few silent movies of the 20s belong "Oberst Redl" (25) and "Die Brandstifter Europas" (26).

Afterwards he retired from the film business for many years.
Only after World War II he returned to the film and he impersonated several support roles in the 50s.
To his well-known movies of those years belong "Frauenarzt Dr. Prätorius" (50), "Tausend rote Rosen blüh'n" (52), "Bis wir uns wiederseh'n" (52) and "Drei vom Varieté" (54).
