The actor Tony Ebärg joined the film business in 1918 and he impersonated several roles in the next years. But his film career remained limited to the silent movie era.

His first appearance in front of the camera was for "Meier drei" (18), it followed the movies "Das Schicksal des Edgar Morton" (19) and "Dämon der Welt" (19).

His last cinematical works came in the 20s into being with "Das Geheimnis der sechs Spielkarten" (20), "Die vom Zirkus" (22), "Das Mädchen von der Heilsarmee" (27) and "Mädchen, hütet Euch!" (28).
