The Danish actress Lilian Ellis conquered the German cinema at the end of the 20's for a short time.
She made her debut in 1928 with the silent movie "Heut' spielt der Strauss" (28), it follwed the movie "Der Leutnant Ihrer Majestät" (29).

Already in the early 30's came her last German movies into being. To these movies belong "1000 Worte deutsch" (30), "Die lustigen Weier von Wien" (31) and "Die Frau von der man spricht" (31).

She returned to Denmarak where she was only able to continue her film career in the 40's.
To her last movies belong "Alle qar rundt oq foresker siq" (41), "Elly Petersen" (44) and "De kloge og vi gale" (45).
