. The actress Anneliese von Eschstruth began her film career at the age of nineteen but the film only played an underpart in her acting career. She made her film debut with "Drei Väter um Anna" (39) at Ilse Werner's and Hans Stüwe's side under the direction of Carl Boese. It followed the Zarah Leander movie "Das Herz der Königin" (40) with Willy Birgel, directed by Carl Froelich. Her appearances in front of the camera remained rarely after the war. She took part in "Die Söhne des Herrn Gaspary" (48) with Lil Dagover and Hans Stüwe and "Ruf an das Gewissen" (49) with Karl Ludwig Diehl and Gustav Diessl. Her last cinematical work came for TV into being with "Smaragden - Geschichte" (56) with Carl Wery, Joachim Fuchsberger and Liselotte Pulver. |
