. The actor and director Max Felmy devoted to the theater as most of his colleagues of that time, among others he worked at the Schweriner Hoftheater from 1918. He only worked seldom for the still young film business. He made his filmdebut as an actor about 1920 with the production "Das Geheimnis der Spielhölle von Sebastopol" (20) at Eugen Klöpfer's side who was also responsible for the direction at the same time. One year later Max Felmy not only appeared as an actor in the two-parter
"Die fliegenden Briganten" (21) moreover he also directed it.
