The actor Lothar Firmans only appreared sporadically in front of the camera, his main activity was for the theater.
He made his film debut with "Quax, der Bruchpilot" (41) at Heinz Rühmann's side, it followed "Fronttheater" (42) directed by Arthur Maria Rabenalt, "Schicksal am Strom" (44) and "Rätsel der Nacht" (45).

After the war he took part in productions like "Ehe im Schatten" (47) directed by Kurt Maetzig, "Die Buntkarierten" (49) again by Kurt Maetzig and "Anna Susanna" (53) with Werner Peters.
