The actress Viola Garden was born as Jolanthe Maria Ida Kehle in Vienna. She experienced a brief film career at the end of the 20's which was confinded to the silent movie.

She made her debut in 1927 with the movie "Das Mädchen mit den fünf Nullen" (27), it followed other productions like "Die von der Scholle sind" (28), "Der lebende Leichnam" (28) and "Die weissen Rosen von Ravensberg" (29).

She got married with the director Carl Ludwig Achaz-Duisberg.
