. The actress Sadjah Gezza was born as Therese Else Wolff in Charlottenburg. She already made her stage debut at the age of 16 years when she appeared on stage of the Schauspielhaus in Düsseldorf. Only two years later she was spotted for the film and Sadjah Gezza was able to launch a busy but brief film career. During this time she worked together with many well-known directors like Fritz Lang, F. W. Murnau, Rudolf Biebrach, Carl Boese and Urban Gad. Her first movies came in 1918 into being with "Der Gezeichnete" (18), "Der Fluch des Nuri" (18) and "In dunkler Tiefe" (18). The following years she took part in "Sodoms Töchter" (19), "Der Herr der Liebe" (19) and "Gepeitscht" (19). At the beginning of the 20s she appeared in her last cinematical works for "Satanas" (20), "Die Tarantel" (20), "Weltbrand" (20), "Der Dämon von Kolno" (21), "Der Brunnen des Wahnsinns" (21) and "Der alte Gospodar" (22). Besides her activity as an actress Sadjah Gezza also appeared as a dancer. As a Jew she emigrated to Sweden with her second husband in 1939. There she died in Stockholm in 1980. Other
