The actor Hans Gleissner appeared at the theater and from the middle of the 10s he also took part in few movies.

His first movie was "Der Hilferuf/Die Banknotenfälscher" (16) directed by Adolf Gärtner at the side of Ernst Reicher as Stuart Webbs, Ossi Oswalda and Magda Madeleine.
His next movies also belonged to the Stuart-Webbs serial with "Rauschgold" (16) with Ernst Reicher, Hans Albers, Stella Harf and Lissy Krüger as well as "Das treibende Floss" (17) with Ernst Reicher and Eva Cron.

In his last movie "Der falsche Prinz" (22) he impersonated a policeman. To his co-stars belonged Oscar Sabo, Bruno Ziener, Victor Colani and Rudolf Klein-Rhoden.
