Gustav Gold

. The filmcomposer Gustav Gold joined the film business in 1925 and he wrote his first filmmusic for the production "Das Geheimnis der alten Mamsell" (25). He composed the music for other movies in the next years, among them "Lützows wilde verwegene Jagd" (27), "Der Sohn der Hagar" (27), "Die weisse Sklavin" (27) and "Die Hölle der Jungfrauen" (28). His career as a filmcomposer remained limited to the silent film era. In the years of the National Socialism in Germany Gustav Gold went into exile, first in Belgian, later in Brazil.
