. The child actor Alfred Grosse joined the film business in 1926 where he took part in few productions. He played the role of Paul in "Die Unehelichen" (26) directed by Gerhard Lamprecht with Ralph Ludwig, Hermine Sterler, Bernhard Goetzke, Max Maximilian, Margaret Kupfer, Eduard Rothauser, Paul Bildt, Käthe Haack and Paul Bildt. Afterwards he impersonated Max in "Durchs Brandenburger Tor / Solang noch Untern Linden... (29) at the side of Paul Henckels, June Marlowe, Aribert Mog, Fritz Kampers, Karl Etlinger and Bruno Ziener. In Ernst Laemmle's "Der Teufelsreporter" (29) he was Maxe with Eddie Polo, Gritta Ley, Maria Forescu, Robert Garrison and Billy Wilder. Alfred Grosser appeared in his only sound film in 1930 with "Auf Leben und Tod" (30) directed by Edmund Heuberger. To his co-stars belonged Eddie Polo, Rina Marsa, Lotte Stein, Angelo Ferrari, Rolf von Goth and Hans Ritter. |
