. The actor Franz Gross was a busy movie actor in the silent movie era. He began his film career in the 10s with movies like "Seelenadel" (13), "Der Schirm mit dem Schwan" (16), "Lumpengrete" (17), "Die Rose von Stambul" (19) and "Der Diener des Herrn Maron" (19). In the 20s followed again several engagements for the productions "Fata Morgana" (20), "Sie oder keine" (20), "Die Tänzerin Barberina" (20), "Fridericus Rex" (22), "Sie und die Drei" (22), "Der grosse Wurf" (22), "Wehe wenn sie losgelassen" (26) and "Wien - Berlin (26). His only sound film came in 1930 into being with "Kohlhiesels Töchter" (30). Walter Gross also dubbed movies besides his activity as
an actor, the
most popular figure he dubbed was the animation "Porky Pig".
