. The actor Eugen Günther made first experiences at the theater before he entered the film business in 1921. To his silent movies of the 20s belong "Kleider machen Leute" (21), "Der Balletterzherzog" (26), "Glück bei Frauen" (28) and "Liebe im Mai" (28). Eugen Günther continued his film career in the sound film era of the 30s and he took part in productions like "Der Onkel aus Sumatra" (30), "Die Blumenfrau von Lindenau" (31), "Lumpacivagabundus" (36) and "Altes Herz geht auf die Reise" (38). Afterwards he only appeared sporadically in front of the camera, among others in "Sieben Jahre Pech" (40) and "Ich und meine Frau" (53).
