The actress Friedl Haerlin began her film career in the silent movie
era with the productions "Die Frauen zweier Junggesellen" (25) and "Der
Schuss im Pavillon" (25).
The theater was her main field of activity so it took nearly five years
till she appeared again in a movie.
In the early talkies she took part in numerous movies, among them "Der
Mann, der den Mord beging" (30), "Königin einer Nacht" (30), "Wehe,
wenn er losgelassen" (32), "Früchtchen" (34), "Eine Frau ohne Bedeutung"
(36), "Pat und Patachon im Paradies" (37) and "Leinen aus Irland" (39).
During wartime followed only few more movies like "Die drei Codonas"
(40) and "Kora Terry" (40).
In the German-language post-war film she only acted in one movie with
the title "Wiener Mädeln" (49).
