The actress Vera Hall joined the film business in 1919 and in her first year she impersonated roles in the productions "Seine Beichte" (19) with Karl Platen, Grit Hegesa, Hedda Vernon and Reinhold Schünzel, "Ut mine stromtid" (19) with Wilhelm Diegelmann, Kurt Middendorf, Eugen Rex, Reinhold Schünzel, Hedda Vernon and Eduard von Winterstein and "Die graue Frau von Alençon" (19) with Kurt Ehrle. Her last cinematical works came at the beginning of the 20s into being and she appeared in "Sie geht denselben Weg" (20) with Josef Roemer and Marie von Bülow, "Lepain, der König der Verbrecher" (20) with Rudolf Forster, Friedrich Kühne, Louis Ralph and Richard Senius, "Les amoureux de Gaby" (21) with Edgar Pauly and Harald Bredow, "Die Flucht in die Ehe/Der grosse Flirt" (22) with Paul Biensfeldt, Wilhelm Diegelmann, Josefine Dora, Leonhard Haskel, Hans Junkermann, Paul Otto and Rudolf Klein-Rhoden and "Die sterbende Erde" (24) with Josef Peterhans and Friedrich Kühne. Many of her movies were directed by Hubert Moest. Besides her activity as an actress she also wrote the screenplay for the movie "Die sterbende Erde" (24). |
