The actor Robert Hartberg only appeared seldom in front of the camera, his first movie was the silent movie "Die rote Maus" (26) directed by Rudolf Meinert with Aud Egede-Nissen, Jaro Fürth, Charles Willy-Kayser, Paul Morgan, Ressel Orla and Paul Richter. It followed the silent movie "Lützows wilde verwegene Jagd" (27) directed by Richard Oswald as archduke Karl of Austria at the side of Ernst Rückert, Artuhr Wellin, Mary Kid, Paul Bildt, Sig Arno, Leopold von Ledebur and Albert Steinrück. His last movie came in the early sound film era into being with "1914, die letzten Tage vor dem Weltbrand" (31) directed by Richard Oswald. In this movie he played count Hoyos with Albert Bassermann, Hermann Wlach, Reinhold Schünzel, Lucie Höflich, Oskar Homolka, Fritz Alberti, Eugen Klöpfer and Alfred Abel. |
