Hans Henninger


1905 - 1937		 .

The actor Hans Henninger made his film debüt at the beginning of the 30's.
To his well-known movies of the 30's belong "Teilnehmer antwortet nicht" (32), "An heiligen Wassern" (32), "Hermine und die sieben Aufrechten" (34) and "Ehestreik" (35).

In dthe next two years he took successfully part in the movies "Der Jäger von Fall" (36), "Verräter" (36), "Gabriele Eins, Zwei, Drei" (37) and "Starke Herzen" (37). 

Because Hans Henninger was homosexual he had a hard time in the National Socialist Germany. When the Gestapo tried to pick him up he evaded from the arrest by suicide in May 1937.
A much promising career ended abrupt with it.

On the left side is one of his last autographs given to the stage photographer Kurt Grote.
