. The actor and singer Edwin Heyer joined the film business in 1918 where he played the role of Kilian in "Der Freischütz" (18). To his co-stars belonged Robert Biberti, Paul Hansen and Julius Roether. In the same year followed William Wauer's "Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor" (18) with Gretl Basch, Ludwig Rex and Karl Tannert. Here he played the role of Cajus Afterwards followed a long interruption before he made a one-time comeback with his only sound film "Die Stunde der Versuchung" (36) directed by Paul Wegener. He impersonated the role of Marullo at the side of Gustav Fröhlich, Lida Baarova, Harald Paulsen, Theodor Loos, Bruno Ziener, Margaret Lanner, Walter Gross, Rudolf Klein-Rogge, Karl Platen and Josefine Dora. |
