Albert Hörrmann

. The actor Albert Hörrmann began his career at the theater in the 20s where he also appeared regular in Berlin. From 1939 he got numerous engagements in Munich where he acted at the Staatsschauspiel. From 1930 Albert Hörrmann took part in numerous movies in which he impersonated support roles. After his first movie "Gefahren der Brautzeit" (30) followed an appearance in Fritz Lang's classic "M - Eine Stadt sucht einen Mörder" (31). It followed other movies like "Gassenhauer" (31), "Der Page vom Dalmasse-Hotel" (33), "Die beiden Seehunde" (34), "Blinde Passagiere" (36) und as Ragupati the two productions "Der Tiger von Eschnapur" (38) and "Das indische Grabmal". He only acted in few more movies during World War II like "Der ewige Quell" (40) and "Venus vor Gericht" (41). He continued his film career after the war, this time mainly for television. To his last cinematical works belong "Verspieltes Leben" (49), "Andorra" (64), "Die Gentlemen bitten zur Kasse" (66), an episode of the serial "Der Kommissar: Die Schrecklichen" (69), the serial "Königlich Bayerisches Amtsgericht" (69-71) and "Der Hofmeister" (76). He also continued his career as a stage actor after the war, first in Oldenburg and from 1956 in Frankfurt where he remained busy till to his death. Besides his activity as an actor Albert Hörrmann was also responsible as a director and screenwriter for the movie "Der nackte Spatz" (38). Other movies with Albert Hörrmann: Kleiner Mann – was nun?
