. The actress Gabriele Hoffmann-Rotter was active at the theater in the first place when she played her first movie role. She impersonated the role of Lady Landsdowne in „Mädchenjahre einer Königin“ (36) at the side of Jenny Jugo, Olga Limburg and Otto Tressler. In the next years followed productions like „Weisse Sklaven“ (37), „Die Kreutzersonate“ (37), „Aus erster Ehe“ (40), „Kopf hoch, Johannes!“ (41) and „Der Fall Rainer“ (42). She continued her film career after the war starting in the 50s. To her postwar movies belong „Drei Mädchen im Endspiel“ (56), „Das Lied der Matrosen“ (58), „Musterknaben“ (59) and „Die Liebe und der Co-Pilot“ (61).
