The actress Lizzi Holzschuh impersonated a first small part in 1932 for the movie "Lumpenkavaliere" (32). Already two years later she had her breakthrough and became a popular actress of the 30's, normally in entertainment movies.

To her well-known movies of the 30's belong "Die Töchter ihre Exzellenz" (34), "Himmel auf Erden" (35), "Zauber der Boheme" (37) and "Sprung ins Glück" (39).

During the wartime followed only few more movies like "Falstaff in Wien" (40) and "Reisebekanntschaft" (43).

She wasn't able to go on from her earlier successes after the war. It followed sporadical appearances in "Wiener Mädeln" (49) and "Weg in die Vergangenheit" (54).
