The actress Olly Holzmann began her film career in 1939 and experienced the height of her career in the Austrian film.

To her well-known movies belong "Hotel Sacher" (39), "Das Glück wohnt nebenan" (39), "Wiener G'schichten" (40), "Sieben Jahre Pech" (40) and "Der weisse Traum" (43).

She wasn't able to go on from her earlier successes after the war. After the movie "Im Tempel der Venus" (48) she retired from the film business.
