. The actor Andreas von Horn was born as Karl Andreas Ziegenhorn in Vienna. His parents were the actors Karl Ziegenhorn and Leopoldine Sperl. He was able to launch a busy film career in the 10s. He made his film debut with "Der Thronfolger" (13) and in the next years he became established as a movie actor. To his well-known movies of the 10s belong the Sherlock-Holmes filming "Der Hund von Baskerville" (14) - in this movie he played the character John Barrymore - "Ein Ausgestossener" (15), "Die Beichte einer Verurteilten" (15), "Der Eremit" (15), "Die Stimme des Toten" (16), "Hoffmanns Erzählungen" (16), "Das Bildnis des Dorian Gray" (17), "Falsches Geld" (18), "Die Apachen" (19) and "Der Klabautermann" (19). Beside it he also directed two movies - "Paragraph 51 des Strafgesetzbuches" (15) and "Ein verhängnisvoller Griff" (16). Afterwards his film career ended. Only at the end of the 20s he took part again in few movies in which he impersonated small roles. To these movies belong "Das tanzende Wien" (27), "Der Neffe aus Amerika" (27), "Notschrei hinter Gittern" (28) and "Abwege" (28). Other
