. The actress Tatjana Irrah was born as Selma Elisabeth Olga Seifert in Witten. She became a popular silent movie star in Germany during the 10s. Her first movies came in 1913 into being with "Die feindlichen Brüder" (13) with Paul Heidemann and in the role of Hedwig in "Hochzeitsabend" (13) with Fritz Reiner. In the next years followed other productions with Tatjana Irrah like Georg Jacoby's "Die Tänzerin" (15) with Leopoldine Konstantin, "Der indische Tod" (15) with Walter Steinbeck, the Sherlock-Holmes filming "Der Hund von Baskervill" (15) with Alwin Neuss in the title role, "Das Spiel ist aus" (16) with Alfred Abel and Max Laurence, "Ihr liebster Feind" (16) with Reinhold Schünzel and "Der oder der?" (19) with Leonhard Haskel and Siegfried Berisch. Her film career came to an end at the beginning of the 20s and she only took part in few more movies, among them "Memoiren eines Kammerdieners, 1. Teil - Martin, der Findling" (21) with Evi Eva and Ernst Hofmann, "Das rote Plakat, 2. Teil - Die eiserne Acht" (21) with Ernst Hofmann and Ida Perry and "Der König von Golconda" (21) with Kurt Middendorf and Paul Rehkopf. Her sister was the actress Lore Giesen.
