. The actor Karl John began his film career at the beginning of the 30's with "Der weisse Dämon/Rauschgift" (32) and "Weisse Sklaven" (36). The expressive support actor appeared during the wartime in movies like "Bal paré" (40), "Stukas" (41), "U-Boote westwärts" (41) and "Andreas Schlüter" (43). Karl John could successfully continue his career after the war and took part in well-known movies till the 60's, among them "Der Verlorene" (51), "Des Teufels General" (55), "Hunde, wollt ihr ewig leben" (57), "Fabrik der Offiziere" (60), "Diesmal muss es Kaviar sein2 (61), "The Longest Day - Der längste Tag" (62) and "Der Hexer" (64). From the middle of the 60's he often played in TV productions, besides
single episodes in the serials "Der Kommissar" uad "Derrick" he also appeared
in the serial "Babeck" (68) and the movies "Pusteblume" (74) and "Sorcerer"
(77).
