. The production designer Fritz Kraenke was already responsible for the decoration in 1915 for his first movie "Fräulein Piccolo" (15) directed by Franz Hofer. He was able to become established in his profession during the 20s and he was engaged for historic movies, adventure productions and entertainment movies. To his most popular works of those years belong "Der Schädel der Pharaonentochter" (20), "Eine Frau mit Vergangenheit" (U21), "Der Überfall auf den Europa-Express" (21), "Othello" (22), "Die Hermannsschlacht" (22-24), "Maciste und die chinesische Truhe" (23), "Steuerlos" (24), "Der Mann ohne Nerven" (24) and "Der Hauptmann von Köpenick" (26).
