. The actress Else Kündinger was active as a stage actress in the first place but she already appeared in few movies in the silent movie era. To these movies belong „Lebenswogen“ (17), „In den Sternen steht es geschrieben“ (25) and „Ich hab mein Herz in Heidelberg verloren“ (26). With the raise of the sound film her engagements in front of the camera increased and she impersonated numerous support roles. To her well-known productions of the 30s and 40s belong „Kreuzer Emden“ (32), „Spiel auf der Tenne“ (37), „Der Katzensteg“ (37), „Das sündige Dorf“ (40), „Der Herr im Haus“ (40), „Das Fräulein von Barnhelm“ (40) and „Peterle“ (43).
