The actress Susi Lanner experienced a short but successful film career in the 30's. First she made a dance and acting education before she startet her film career in 1932.
To her first movies belong "Hochzeitsreise zu dritt" (32) and "Abenteuer am Lido" (33).

In the next years followed well-known movies like "Der letzte Walzer" (34), "Heinz im Mond" (34) with Heinz Rühmann, "Artisten" (35), "Der Weg nach Shanghai/Moskau - Schanghai" (36) and "Ungeküsst soll man nicht schlafen gehn/Wer zuletzt küsst..." (36) - although with Heinz Rühmann.

After that she got married with an American industrialist and retired from the film business. She went to the USA in 1938 and hadn't to experience the horror of the wartime in Europe vividly.
