. The actor Hans Lanser-Ludolff was a busy theater actor who also directed some plays before he entered the film business in 1914 where he took part in some well-known productions. He began his film career with "Zapatas Bande" (14), it followed the silent movies "Wer wirft den ersten Stein auf sie?" (16), "Wenn Frauen lieben und hassen" (18), "Die Spinnen" (19) directed by Fritz Lang and "Der Bastard" (19). His last cinematical works came at the beginning of the 20s into being, among them "Der Januskopf" (20) directed by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau, "Das rote Plakat" (20), "Falschspieler" (20), "Der schwarze Harlekin" (20) and his most popular movies "Das Cabinett des Doktor Caligari" (20) directed by Robert Wiene and "Nosferatu - Eine Symphonie des Grauens" (22) von F. W. Murnau. In "Dr. Sacrobosco, der grosse Unheimliche" (23) he impersonated his last role in front of the camera.
