. The actor Eberhard Leithoff was born as Arthur Paul Alexander Rössling in Berlin. He began his film career in 1924 with appearances in the movies "Claire" (24) and "Gräfin Donelli" (24). He became established as a film actor in the next years and he impersonated roles in the productions "Der Demütige und die Tänzerin" (25), "Laster der Menschheit" (27), "Mata Hari, die rote Tänzerin" (27), "Maria Stuart" (27), "Das Mädchen mit den fünf Nullen" (27), "Die von der Scholle sind" (28) and "Das närrishe Glück" (29). The 30s was the last decade he acted regular in feature movies. He normally played support roles in the movies "Jeder hat mal Glück" (33), "Gold" (34), "Unter heissem Himmel" (36), "Napoleon ist an allem schuld" (38), "Lauter Lügen" (38) and "Hurra, ich bin Papa!" (39). During World War II he only took part in one more movie called "Nora" (44), in the same year he was killed in Berlin during an air raid.
