The actress Elisabeth Lennartz was well-known as a theater actress in the first place and was very successful on the stage.

She only took part in few movies, so in her only silent movie called "Im Namen des Königs" (23) and in the 30's in productions like "Niemandsland" (31), "Ich bei Tag und du bei Nacht" (32), "Dreimal Ehe" (35) and "Ihr erstes Erlebnis" (39).

She continued her theater career after the war, for the film she only appeared once more in front of the camera - "Wenn wir alle Engel wären" (56).

Elisabeth Lennartz was married with the actor Gustav Knuth.
