.
. The actor Charles Lincoln began his film career in Germany in 1923 with "Schlagende Wetter" (23). In the next years followed further productions with "Das Herz der Lilian Thorland" (24), "Varieté" (25), "Die Waise von Lowood" (26), "In der Heimat, da gibt's ein Wiedersehn!" (26), "Mädchenhandel" (27), "Acht Akte aus dem Leben lediger Leute" (27) and "Die Dame in Schwarz" (28). Probably as a result of the emerging talkies Charles Lincoln took part in English productions from 1929, but his appearances in front of the camera remained rare after his silent movie career. He appeared in "The Streets of London" (29), nine years later followed his last cinematical work with "Murder Tomorrow" (38). |
