. The actor Henry Lorenzen began his career at the theater where he appeared regular in Berlin. He joined the film business in 1930 and he soon became a demanded support actor. To his well-known movies of the 30s belong "Eine Freundin so goldig wie Du" (30), "Viktor und Viktoria" (33), "Der Springer von Pontresina" (34), "G'schichten aus dem Wienerwald" (34), "Intermezzo" (36), "Sherlock Holmes" (37), "Sein bester Freund" (37) and "Kleiner Mann - ganz gross!" (38). He continued his film career during World War II with "Nanette" (40), "Stern von Rio" (40), "Das Herz der Königin" (40), "Die grosse Liebe" (42), "Akrobat Schööön!" (43) and "Herr Sanders lebt gefährlich" (44). After the war he was active again at the theater and in movies. To his postwar movies belong "Fünf unter Verdacht" (50), "Maharadscha wider Willen" (50), "Ihr Leibregiment" (55), "Das einfache Mädchen" (57), "Ihr 106. Geburtstag" (58), "Der Engel, der seine Harfe versetzte" (59), "Rosen für den Staatsanwalt" (59) and the Edgar-Wallace filming "Der grüne Bogenschütze" (61).
