Elena Luber

The actress Elena Luber was only seldom active in front of the camera, she orientated to the theater by the majority.
She made her film debut in 1933 with "Roman einer Nacht" (33), it followed "Grüss' mir die Lore noch einmal" (34), "Eine Nacht an der Donau" (35), "Männer vor der Ehe" (36) and "Der schüchterne Casanova" (36).

During wartime she took part in Italian productions like "La famiglia Brambilla in vacanza" (41) and "In cerce di felicità" (44).

She returned to Germany after the war and had her last apearances in movies in the 50's. To her last movies belong "Unschuld in tausend Nöten" (51), "Der keusche Josef" (53) and "Die spanische Fliege" (55).

Elena Luber was married with the director Carl Boese.
