The actor Julius Markow was able to launch a film career from 1914 which remained limited to the silent movie era.
After his film debut "Todesrauschen" (14) he took part in the movies "Strohfeuer" (15), "Das lebende Rätsel" (16), "Die Peitsche" (16) and "Die schwarze Locke" (19).

At the beginning of the 20s he acted in front of the camera for the last time. To these movies belong "Die Erlebnisse einer Kammerzofe" (22) and "Die vom Zirkus" (22)
