. The actor Hans Marr became well-known especially because of his performance of Wilhelm Tell in the 20's and 30's. His earliest film work can be backdated to the year 1913, where he played
in the movie "Eva" (13) and "Statistinnen des Lebens" (13), it followed
among others "Mir kommt keiner aus" (17).
In the 30's he acted in the movies "Ein süsses Geheimnis" (32),
"Grossfürstin Alexandra" (33), "Wilhelm Tell" (34) - at Conrad Veidt's
and Emmy Sonnemann's side (the later wife of Hermann Göring) - as
well as in the first filming of the most famous Christmas carol "Stille
Nacht, heilige Nacht/Das unsterbliche Lied - Silent Night, Holy Night"
(34).
