Karl Martell

The actor Karl Martell made his film debut "Das grosse Geheimnis" (20), it followed "Die goldene Pest" (21) and "Das goldene Haar" (22). But only from the middle of the 30's he appeared regular in front of the camera and became a popular support actor.

To his well-known movies of the 30's belong "La Habanera" (37), "Der Spieler" (38), "Frauen für Golden Hill" (38) and "D III 38 (39). 
During wartime he took part in the productions "Alarm" (41), "Ohm Krüger" (41), "Damals" (43) and  "Das alte Lied" (45).

His activity in the film business dropped off after the war. He only appeared in the movies "Herzen im Sturm" (51), "Die Gefangene des Maharadscha" (53), "Sterne über Colombo" (54) and "Der blaue Nachtfalter" (59), after that he retired from the film business.
