The actress Gertrud Meyen appeared at the end of the 30's in movies for the first time. Her career lasted only few years and was nearly concluded after 1945.

To her few movies belong "Wenn Männer verreisen" (39), "Die barmherzige Lüge" (39) and the criminal film "Dr. Crippen an Bord" (42).
After the war she only took part in the production "Frauenschicksale" (52).
